With the ever increasing use of tablets and smartphones to watch webinars while away from the office it is important that we advise clients on the best slide designs so they can be seen and also monitor the audio and video streaming live.
We now usually have a number of devices – Android and Apple iPhones plus iPads and other tablets – in addition to our normal computer screens linked to the webinar.
In addition we keep track of who has entered the webinar and at what time. We capture all the information on who registers so can see who has failed to turn up (so the client can follow-up afterwards) and who has tried to join a few times but has not succeeded. This could mean some technical issues so we can contact them and help them join the webinar.
This process together with reminding people a few hours and then a few minutes before it is due to start ensures we maximise attendance when it is being sent out live.
After the webinar is over we supply the client with all the event database records so they can follow up any questions or interest directly. We e-mail all those who registered but did not attend and provide them with a link to the podcast recording of the webinar.
